Call for Multichannel Works
Electronic Nights No. 8, 9, & 10
The School of Music at Texas Tech University invites composers and intermedia artists to submit multichannel electroacoustic works (4-channel). For this cycle, we are accepting works for both audio-only and audio-visual (video) formats.
📥 Submission Materials
- Four Mono Audio Files: 4-channel stems labeled (FL, FR, RL, RR).
- Video File (Optional): For audio-visual submissions.
- Channel Layout Plan: Diagram or text file for spatial arrangement.
- Stereo Reference: One stereo MP3 (320 kbps).
- Word File: Containing a 150-word bio and 150-word Program Note.
- Headshot: High-resolution (JPEG/PNG).
⚙️ Technical Specifications
Quad Delivery: 48 kHz / 24-bit WAV preferred. Filenames: Lastname_Title_CH1.wav...
Video: .mp4 or .mov (1080p or 4K).
Storage: Google Drive or Dropbox link. Must be active until the end of 2026.
🗓️ Important Dates
Deadline: August 20, 2026
Link Expiry: Must remain active through December 31, 2026.
